ASL Interpreter at Shrub Oak International School

Shrub Oak International School is hiring an on-site ASL Interpreter to provide accessible communication and interpreting services in academic settings, meetings, and school events for deaf, hard-of-hearing, deafblind, and DeafDisabled students and staff. The role also includes tutoring support, progress documentation, crisis intervention, crisis de-escalation, and student transportation when required. Compensation is $30–$35 hourly, and the position requires a bachelor’s degree, fluent ASL, at least one year of interpreting experience with deaf or hard-of-hearing populations, and completion of the RID written exam or EIPA assessment.
