Wabtec is hiring an Assembly Technician at its Kansas City, Missouri facility to assemble and disassemble components on production lines using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools. The role follows detailed work instructions and SOPs, maintains clean and safe workspaces, performs component cleaning and testing, and requires cross-training and adherence to safety protocols. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible overtime on Fridays and Saturdays, and the position is on-site. A high school degree or equivalent is preferred, along with basic mechanical knowledge and at least one year of mechanical assembly and disassembly experience; the stated base pay is $22.50.
