Description
The Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units, fitting, testing, and calibrating components to meet tolerances and product specifications. The role includes preparing work from instructions and parts lists, using templates and measurements, fastening components, troubleshooting assembly and equipment issues, maintaining a safe work environment, and managing supplies inventory. It requires 0–2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience with hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and power tools; apprenticeship experience is a plus.
