Description
The Metal Assembler assembles metal products such as brakes, valves, and hydraulic cylinders at a bench or on the shop floor. The role positions parts, fastens them, removes small metal quantities with hand tools, operates drill presses and punch presses, disassembles components for salvage, and supports Carlisle Operating System, Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives. It requires a high school diploma or GED, three to six months of related experience or training, and six to twelve months of manufacturing experience; mechanical or machinery experience is preferred. The position offers medical, dental, and vision coverage for positions of 30+ hours per week, an HSA, retirement and insurance benefits, paid time off, parental leave, and a 3% bonus program.
