Description
The Electrical Assembly Technician performs core-stacking, landing and topping, pre-wiring, and final assembly of electrical units. The role involves selecting materials, setting up tools and fixtures, applying epoxy and insulating compounds, using hand and air tools and heavy equipment, assembling coils, bushings, switches, gauges, meters, conduit, and control components, and wiring controls according to design specifications. The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, works with varying heights and confined-space and hot-work activities, and includes assisting with employee orientation and training.
