Description
The Truss Assembler builds wood roof and floor trusses from engineered drawings, jigs, and specifications by cutting, positioning, fastening, inspecting, and staging lumber components. The role requires blueprint and work-order interpretation, basic math, safe operation of saws and presses, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, while prior truss manufacturing, carpentry, or construction experience is preferred but not required because on-the-job training is provided. The position offers flexible 8-hour Monday–Friday shifts, possible overtime, and pay starting at $16 per hour for the first shift and $17.50 per hour for the second shift.
