Description
The Assembly Technician sets up and operates manual machines to produce tooling, gages, and production components; machines precision components to tight tolerances; interprets engineering drawings and specifications; selects tools, machines, and materials; and uses precision measuring instruments. The role requires conventional machining experience, analytical and problem-solving skills, ERP work-booking, in-process inspection, non-conformance handling, root-cause analysis, TPM activities, and 5S maintenance. It is a non-exempt, non-supervisory manufacturing position requiring 3–5 years of experience, preferably in aerospace, and is performed 100% in a manufacturing area.
