Description
The Assembler combines component parts according to work instructions, BOMs, and supervisor or lead directions. Responsibilities include verifying component quantities and quality, checking completed items, participating in inventory, managing parts in the work cell, disposing of scrap, following safety and environmental policies, and performing other assigned shop tasks. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and reading skills, instruction-following ability, assembly-tool operation, computerized system use, communication, hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
