Description
The Assembler builds and assembles mechanical components for switchgear and breaker units, including electrical units and other Powell products, using engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. The role includes tool maintenance, in-process inspections, ship preparation, quality checks, safety compliance, and maintaining a clean work area. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, tape-measure and metric-imperial conversion skills, basic hand and power-tool knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position works in a temperature-controlled manufacturing or industrial environment and may require work at heights, ladder use, and personal protective equipment.
