Description
The Assembler builds and assembles mechanical components for switchgear and breaker units, including electrical units and other Powell products, using engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. The role includes tool maintenance, in-process inspections, ship preparation, quality checks, safety compliance, and maintaining a clean work area. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, tape-measure and tool knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with PPE and elevated work.
