Description

The Assembler operates automated and industrial sewing equipment to join parts of fabricated articles or garments according to product instructions, samples, and customer specifications. The role includes setting up machines, performing top-stitching, zipper and pocket installation, grommeting, snaps, marking, heat pressing, sonic sealing, pattern forming, component attachment, in-line quality inspections, and repairing failed units. The position also requires meeting production targets, following safety and ISO quality policies, and working flexible shifts. Qualifications include a minimum grade 10 or proven work experience, 13 months to 2 years of related cutting or sewing experience, communication and basic math skills, computer proficiency, and familiarity with NIJ Standard-0101.06 ballistic resistance requirements.
