Description
Xylem is hiring an Assembler to assemble, build, and fabricate defect-free parts and finished products in a manufacturing cell. The role involves hand soldering, measuring and epoxying components, following written processes and ISO standards, communicating with manufacturing engineering, maintaining a clean work area, mentoring new employees, and serving as a manufacturing cell point person when assigned. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a standard 40-hour week and moderate overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with hand-tool, production or assembly, soldering, measurement, communication, and teamwork experience. The estimated pay is $17 per hour, with medical, dental, and vision insurance available on the first date.
