SIG SAUER is hiring an Assembler I, Optics for a second-shift, Monday-through-Friday manufacturing role from 15:15 to 01:45. The position performs mechanical, optical lens, electronic, and general assembly; operates torque tools, electric drivers, hand tools, optical equipment, robotic equipment, and adhesive dispensers; performs soldering and quality inspections; and maintains lean manufacturing and 6S standards. The role requires fine motor skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and experience with pneumatic tools and general mechanical assembly. A high school diploma or GED, related experience or training, and the ability to solder are required, while optical assembly, optics handling, soldering certifications, ERP navigation, and computer navigation are preferred. The work is primarily standing and involves repetitive manufacturing tasks, frequent lifting, and required PPE.
