The Assembler II assembles and tests mechanical and electrical parts, including fiber-optic cables, connectors, cabinets, enclosures, and electronic assemblies. Responsibilities include preparing and terminating fiber cables, soldering, cable assembly, quality inspection, documentation, and teamwork. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 12 months of assembly experience, Solder Pot Certification, and the ability to use hand tools, soldering equipment, and assembly drawings. The employee works with limited supervision after a 30-day training period, may work overtime, and must meet physical and sensory requirements.
