The role performs mechanical assembly and subassembly work on missiles, rockets, and launchers; operates automated equipment; uses hand and power tools; follows assembly drawings; conducts quality inspections; and modifies, reworks, reassembles, and tests experimental or prototype assemblies. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, hand-tool ability, drawing-reading ability, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds and work overtime. The salary range is $32,000 to $59,400, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
