Description
The Assembly Department Manager plans, directs, and improves production operations across shifts for automotive plastic parts and components, including injection molding and assembly. The role manages supervisors and team leaders, oversees staffing and training, leads continuous improvement and cost reduction, troubleshoots quality and productivity issues, maintains safety and equipment conditions, and coordinates with engineering and other departments. The position requires a college degree plus two years of manufacturing experience or four years of progressive technical or management experience in a manufacturing environment, along with a minimum Wonderlic Select score of 50.
