Description
The Assembly Operations Supervisor manages takt-line assembly personnel and leads systems assembly operations for Bauer products, focusing on productivity, quality, safety, staffing, training, and continuous improvement. The role oversees assembly processes, work cells, routings, KPI visualization, production scheduling, quality verification, design/BOM changes, and coordination with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, safety, and engineering teams. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of relevant experience, at least three years of supervisory experience, Lean and process-improvement knowledge, and proficiency with assembly drawings, measuring devices, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems. The position reports to the Director, Assembly Operations, supervises Electrical, Mechanical, and Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers and Assembly Leads, and follows a Monday-through-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule with occasional evening and weekend hours.
