Avnet is hiring a PC hardware integration and configuration technician to assemble and configure personal computers, operating systems, circuit boards, disk drives, mass-storage devices, and peripherals. The role diagnoses and resolves hardware integration failures using circuit analysis, waveform calculations, fault isolation, PROM programming, and signal-flow tracing; documents defective-part replacements, shipping, and build updates; and contributes to process improvements. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience, and may require A+ certification, prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and travel.
