Description
The Assembly Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations across multiple aerospace and defense production departments, including electrical assembly, paint, plating, deburring, testing, welding, mechanical assembly, sheet metal, and PCM fill. The role supervises backshop team members and supervisors, manages production schedules and resources, monitors quality and efficiency metrics, resolves production issues, supports continuous improvement, and coordinates with engineering, quality, planning, supply chain, maintenance, and program management. The position requires 5–8 years of manufacturing experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries, 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience, ERP/MRP experience, and the ability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends.
