Description
DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is hiring a Factory-Built Substation (FBS) Technician to work in the Assembly Department at its Port of Alexandria Facility. The technician will assemble custom factory-built substations by reading blueprints, erecting steel, positioning and aligning parts, operating hand and power tools and machinery, moving parts with hoists or cranes, maintaining equipment and warehouse areas, and following safety procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent and experience with simple hand tools are required; warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
