Description
Maryhaven is hiring an Assessment Counselor to conduct psychosocial assessments, brief screenings, treatment recommendations, and comprehensive clinical treatment plans for new patients. The role also provides brief intervention for chemical dependency and mental health needs, crisis intervention, group therapy, and individual therapy, while maintaining service documentation and communicating with clients. The position requires a bachelor's degree in social work or a master's degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy, one year or more of counseling experience preferred, and valid Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT licensure.
