Flint Hills Resources is hiring an Asset Engineer for its Pine Bend refinery in Rosemount, Minnesota, with responsibility for the Alkylation Unit. The role maintains equipment availability, troubleshoots critical equipment, develops turnaround scopes, oversees reliability strategies, performs root-cause failure analysis, manages change through the MOC process, forecasts maintenance spending, and leads reliability and business improvement projects. The position requires at least three years of refining experience, with five years or more and a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering preferred. Compensation is estimated at $100,000–$175,000 per year, with variable bonus potential, and includes medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
