Description
The Assignment Desk Reporter assigns and tracks news crews, identifies and develops daily content, writes and posts content, edits videos, monitors scanners and social media for breaking news, develops sources, and supports the Content Center. The role requires at least two years of assignment desk experience, journalistic accuracy, effective communication, computer and word-processing skills, social-media proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure; a journalism bachelor’s degree is preferred.
