Amazon is hiring an Assignment Manager to lead international assignment cases for employees and families, providing end-to-end guidance from pre-offer consultation through assignment closure. The role advises senior business leaders on assignment feasibility, presents and negotiates assignment and repatriation offers, coordinates with relocation, immigration, tax, benefits, compensation, and vendor partners, resolves complex cross-functional issues, interprets mobility policy and exceptions, and mentors Assignment Specialists. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least five years of international mobility, global relocation, or expatriate management experience, and direct experience with international tax, cross-border compensation, and assignment packages. It is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 125,800 to 170,200 USD annually.
