The YMCA of Alexandria is hiring an Assistant Aquatics Director to support the Aquatics Director in leading and developing aquatics staff, overseeing daily pool operations and program execution, maintaining safety and readiness, managing facility conditions and equipment, and reviewing operational records. The role requires a bachelor’s degree preferred, at least three years of aquatics, recreation, or related leadership experience, and current Lifeguard, CPR/AED (Professional Rescuer), and First Aid certifications, along with specified aquatic safety and rescue skills. The salary is $41,000.00–$45,000.00, with medical, dental, and vision coverage and other benefits.
