Virginia Tech’s Department of Mechanical Engineering is hiring multiple tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professors in advanced manufacturing. Candidates will establish internationally recognized research programs, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and contribute to VT MADE and the department’s research and education. Applicants must hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline by the start of their appointment; the positions are regular, 40-hour appointments in Blacksburg, Virginia, with an anticipated start date of August 2027.
