Nazarbayev University is hiring an Assistant or Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Design within its Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The role combines teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, leading industry-supported research, developing industrial collaborations, supervising MSc and PhD students, mentoring researchers, and contributing to university and international initiatives. Applicants need a PhD in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline, at least three years of academic experience after the PhD, research and postgraduate supervision experience, FEA/CAE tool knowledge, GD&T and engineering-drawing knowledge, and English fluency.
