North Carolina A&T State University is hiring a non-tenured track faculty Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice – Extension Community and Economic Development Specialist for a permanent, full-time, 12-month appointment. The role leads research-based statewide Extension programs serving limited-resource and socially disadvantaged audiences, develops educational materials, trains field staff, supports community growth and economic resilience, and assists with risk management and disaster preparedness. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field and have at least three years of program planning, implementation, and evaluation experience; five or more years of Cooperative Extension program development experience is preferred. The position is primarily on-site, with possible remote or hybrid eligibility subject to university and state policies.
