Whitman College is hiring a full-time Assistant Athletic Director to support the Department of Athletics and serve as a strategic leadership and NCAA/Northwest Conference compliance officer. The role oversees compliance systems, recruiting eligibility, student-athlete records, transfer processes, academic monitoring, investigations, reporting, and departmental operations, while also supporting student-athlete retention and athletics programming. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of administrative experience in intercollegiate athletics or a related field; a master’s degree and NCAA compliance experience are preferred. The position pays $37.49–$39.58 per hour and may require nights, weekends, and holidays.
