Description
Ferrum College is hiring a full-time, 12-month Assistant Athletic Trainer to support medical services for its 20 varsity programs. The role assists the Head Athletic Trainer with injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, referral, and rehabilitation; maintains athletic training room operations and medical records; covers assigned sports during practices and competitions, including travel; supports inventory, budget, and administrative duties; and supervises work-study students and student interns. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, BOC certification, eligibility for Virginia athletic training licensure, current ECC certification, basic computer and Microsoft Office skills, and a valid driver’s license. The salary range is $50,000.
