Description
The Assistant Attorney General in the Workers’ Compensation Bureau investigates and handles workers’ compensation cases, appears before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, drafts and responds to motions, manages settlements, and represents the State of Illinois in hearings. Candidates must be licensed in Illinois at the time of application; two years of general litigation experience or at least one year of workers’ compensation experience is preferred, with personal injury experience considered advantageous. The salary range is $82,000 to $107,550.
