Description
The Assistant Business Unit Controller oversees complex accounting activities, technical accounting research, government accounting compliance, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting process improvement. The role advises Finance leadership, supports audits, develops accounting policies, leads process and automation initiatives, and supervises accounting staff. It requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least eight years of progressive accounting experience, three to five years of supervisory or leadership experience, and a valid Florida driver's license; a master's degree and CPA are preferred.
