Saks Global, the leading global luxury retailer, is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join their team. This role involves assisting in vendor selection, monitoring inventory productivity, analyzing vendor profitability, and managing price change data. The Assistant Buyer will also handle order management tasks like liaising with buyers, overseeing purchase order transmissions, and allocating merchandise. Additionally, they will contribute to market preparation by providing buyer insights, supporting style-out sessions, and developing strategic product assortments. The role requires extensive bottom-up in-season analysis, acting as a primary contact for execution feedback, reviewing business performance, managing markdown cadence, and collaborating on report generation.
