J.McLaughlin is hiring an Assistant Designer Women’s Apparel to support the Women’s apparel product team from concept through production. The role creates and maintains CAD flat illustrations, PLM design data, seasonal line plans, sample requests, trim libraries, and design archives; supports fittings, color, print, and fabric information; and collaborates with cross-functional teams. It is primarily based in the Greenpoint, Brooklyn office on a hybrid schedule and requires 0–2 years of apparel design or related experience, proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, PLM experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred.
