The Assistant Cheer and Dance Coach will support the Head Cheer and Dance Coach with coaching expertise and administrative duties for Loyola University’s intercollegiate Cheer and Dance program. Responsibilities include assisting with practice and contest organization and supervision, implementing recruiting efforts, following NAIA and Southern States Athletic Conference rules, and serving as a University Campus Security Authority. The role requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent; at least one year of coaching, playing, manager, or general-athlete experience; a valid driver’s license; and the ability to work with student-athletes, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and the role may involve setting up bleachers and cheer mats, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and transporting athletes.
