Chess Wizards is hiring an Assistant Instructor to support after-school chess enrichment classes for 15–22 elementary students in Ambler, Pennsylvania. The role involves setting up and managing interactive chess sessions, providing one-on-one or small-group student support, reinforcing curriculum and sportsmanship, maintaining a positive classroom environment, following school safety protocols, and traveling to assigned local school sites. Compensation is $30–$35 per class, with flexible weekday-afternoon availability of 1–5 classes per week and mileage reimbursement for trips exceeding 15 miles one way. Candidates need a strong grasp of chess fundamentals, reliable transportation, and the ability to supervise children; prior teaching, tutoring, or camp-counseling experience is a plus.
