Description
The Safer Foundation is seeking an Assistant Chief of Security to lead facility security operations and staff training at their assigned center. The role involves supervising CRC II staff, serving as a shift trainer for CRCI and CRCII teams, and ensuring compliance with security protocols mandated by the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). The Assistant Chief will oversee security procedures, act as a liaison between security teams and external agencies, and be available for on-call emergencies and crisis intervention. The position requires strong leadership, crisis intervention expertise, and staff development skills to maintain a secure correctional environment.
