The Penobscot Bay YMCA is hiring a full-time Assistant Child Care Teacher in Rockport, Maine, to support Lead Teachers in an early childhood classroom. The role involves active supervision, age-appropriate learning activities, positive behavior guidance, documentation, family communication, and classroom maintenance. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, hold CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, and complete Child Abuse Prevention Training within 30 days of hire; prior early childhood experience is preferred.
