Description

Fairfield is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Affordable Housing to support property operations, ensure compliance with affordable housing programs like LIHTC and HUD, and deliver excellent customer service. The role involves tasks such as collecting rent, processing invoices, preparing financial reports, verifying income for program compliance, managing lease agreements, and mentoring leasing teams.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Previous Experiences: One year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience.
One year of LIHTC experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in leadership and supervising a staff.
Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong math and accounting skills.
Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information, etc.).
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation.
Knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
Knowledge of IRS 8823 guide and HUD 4350.3 manual.
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) designation.
