Description
The Ohio Department of Commerce is hiring a Construction Codes Certification Engineer to assist the Board of Building Standards in developing and adopting construction codes. The role reviews national codes, drafts administrative rules for Ohio building, plumbing, mechanical, elevator, pressure-piping, boiler, and other codes, provides statewide training, and responds to code inquiries. Applicants must hold an Ohio Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer and five years of experience as a registered professional engineer, or alternatively qualify as a Code & Certification Construction Architect.
