Assistant Controller – Accounting Operations at cathaybank

Cathay Bank is hiring an Assistant Controller – Accounting Operations to lead and manage accounting operations, including period-end close, general ledger oversight, reconciliations, internal controls, financial reporting, subsidiary consolidation, audit coordination, and accounting staff development. The role manages a team and serves as a backup to the Corporate Controller. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience including financial close and general ledger oversight, and team management experience; banking or public accounting experience is preferred. The position offers $150,000–$190,000 per year plus a possible discretionary bonus and full-time benefits.
