Description
The Assistant Controller supports the Controller and oversees American Battery Solutions’ accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, audits, and internal controls. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least five years of progressive accounting experience, and strong Excel skills; experience with Plex ERP, a production or manufacturing environment, and a CPA license are preferred. The position is primarily on-site in Lake Orion, Michigan, with occasional travel under 10%, and includes employer-paid medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits.
