Description
The Assistant Controller supports the Chief Financial Officer and Controller by directing and completing accounting functions, maintaining GAAP-compliant systems and internal controls, preparing financial statements and reports, managing journal entries and account reconciliations, coordinating audits and 990 filings, supervising accounting staff, and assisting with budgets, forecasts, and special projects. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, seven years of experience or equivalent education and work experience, and proficiency with accounting and Microsoft applications; a Certified Public Accountant license is a plus.
