Description
Colas Construction is hiring an Assistant Controller to support the Controller and operational leaders with accounting operations across general ledger, financial close, construction revenue recognition, project accounting, accounts payable, fixed assets, leases, and specialized accounting. The role leads monthly close execution, maintains WIP and balance-sheet integrity, governs vendor and payment controls, coordinates audits, and develops direct-report staff. It is primarily office-based at Colas Construction Headquarters, with occasional construction-site visits, and requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least five years of construction-industry accounting experience, and proficiency with construction accounting systems.
