Description
GFL Environmental Services is hiring an Assistant Controller to manage and mentor regional accounting and billing operations, including the general ledger close, accounts payable and receivable, collections, billing, revenue reconciliation, variance analysis, and financial reporting. The role also leads the migration from legacy billing systems to OMS, partners with the Regional Controller on Power BI dashboards, and supports regional leadership with profitability analysis. It is a hybrid position primarily based in Sugar Land, Texas, with weekly travel to Baytown, Texas and occasional travel to other regional field locations; overtime may be required during critical closes and system migrations.
