Description
The Assistant Controller assists the Controller in managing the Finance Division and supervising the central accounting office. Responsibilities include financial statement preparation and review, audit coordination, general and bond accounting, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, cash management, internal controls, financial reporting, Yardi record review, and staff supervision. The role requires at least five years of senior-level accounting experience, including two years of supervisory experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, and knowledge of governmental, grant, cost, and bond accounting. The salary range is $94,415 to $160,995, with the amount determined by the departmental budget.
