Description
The role leads Houzz’s technical accounting, financial reporting, accounting operations, international tax compliance, internal controls, SOX readiness, and accounting transformation. It includes building and coaching a high-performing accounting team, establishing scalable policies and playbooks, and applying automation and responsible AI to improve controls and cycle time. The position requires at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, a CPA license, public accounting experience, and expertise in U.S. GAAP, close operations, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
