Description
The Assistant Controller oversees day-to-day accounting operations for the King Ranch Ag & Turf business unit, including the monthly and annual close, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and audit coordination. The role leads the accounting team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and the general ledger, while also managing commission payouts, inventory and asset counts, process improvements, and communication between accounting and operations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, accounting-team management experience, and willingness to travel less than 15% to segment locations.
