Description
The Assistant Controller reports to the Controller and supervises select accounting staff. The role plans and controls accounting operations, prepares financial statements and operating reports, forecasts cash needs, monitors budgets and inventory, performs variance and account reconciliations, supports audits, and coordinates complex accounting projects. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a current CPA license, and at least five years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or production. The position is full-time on a 9/80 schedule with occasional production-area visits.
