Description
Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is hiring an Assistant Controller for its Washington DC office. Reporting to the Controller, the role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance reporting, month- and year-end closing, internal controls, fixed assets, partner accounting, audits, taxes, accounts payable, and related processes. The Assistant Controller will also supervise and develop two or more personnel, coordinate with external tax and audit firms, and support budgeting, forecasting, technology implementation, and other assigned projects. The position requires at least seven years of accounting experience and two years of supervisory experience, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting; it is a hybrid role with a stated base salary of $140,000 to $160,000.
